PRIVATE - SOAP EXPERIENCE & OLIVE OIL TASTING
Visit to the mill and its processing machinery, demonstration of the
production processes of extra virgin olive oil. Explanation and demonstration
of the production process of ‘made-to order’ soap as it used to be. Guests
will watch and participate in the cold soap process, using olive oil as a fat for saponification by following three steps. First, we prepare all the ingredients, then we combine them until the necessary temperatures have been reached, and finally we make soap and fill the moulds.
Tasting: pure and flavoured olive oil with typical Sicilian bread, olives, seasoned cheese, typical seasoned sausage, bruschetta with typical pâtés, pizzolo traditionally filled, ricotta cheese and honey.
